Market will open positive continued with yesterday's recovery mode. Nifty immediate resistance will be at 5550 and support will be at 5460 and 5410. FIIs outflow is a reason to worry.

Unitech moves court to stop pledged share sale held against debt raised by promoter entities

FIIs in F&O on Jan 31
FIIs were net sellers to the tune of Rs 480 crore in Index Futures; which OI was up by 4501 contracts. They were net sellers of Rs 280 crore in Stock Futures; which OI was up by 18344 contracts.
However, FIIs were net buyers of Rs 891 crore in Index Options; which OI was up by 96935 contracts. Stock Futures added 2.98 crore shares in open interest (OI).

Nifty OI PCR was down at 1.27 versus 1.31. Nifty 5500 Call added 11.6 lakh shares in OI while Nifty 5400 Put added 8.2 lakh shares in Open Interest.
Delivery based selling and fresh shorts were seen in Unitech, Jet Airways and Jain Irrigation. Unitech tumbled 5.9%; its OI was up by 10% and delivery volume jumped at 85 lakh shares versus 47 lakh.
Jet Airways fell 5.3%; its OI was up by 4%. Delivery volume increased to 4.2 equity shares versus 1 lakh shares. Jain Irrigation plunged 10%; its OI was up by 44% and delivery volume went up at 10.2 equity shares versus 6.6 lakh.
Short covering was seen in Lanco Infra. The stock gained 5.5%; its OI was down by 6% and delivery volume declined at 23 lakh equity shares versus 49 lakh shares.
Speculative buying and fresh longs were seen in Canara Bank. The stock shot up 8.4%; its OI was up by 11%.
