Market opened in positive and sustained for the mid session but lost the steam and wiped the morning gains and ended flat. Nifty ended at 5426.20 with marginal 9 points' gain and Sensex ended with a 61.63 points in positive at 18083.85.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, Realty Index gained the most with 2.10% followed by 1.95%. Power Sectoral Index was the top loser by 1.52%.
In Nifty50 stocks, Tatamotors was the top gainer with 3.67% and ended at 1108.30 whereas Herohonda was the top loser with 6.12% fall and ended at 1511.85.
Tatasteel was the turnover topper by the traded value and Unitech was the most traded stock on NSE today by the traded quantity.
Advance/Decline Ratio was negative on very small scale difference as 700 stocks declined and 667 stocks gained today on NSE.
