Market was lackluster today.Opened with a positive note and ended flat.Nifty gained 7.70 points and ended at 5662.25.Nifty Jan month future ended with 2.05  points discount. Sensex was up by 41.01 points to end at 18901.45.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, IT index gained the most with 1.93% whereas Realty Index was the top loser by 2.13%.
In Nifty50 stocks,HDFC gained the most with 3.47% and ended at 664.Relinfra was the top loser which plunged by 7.47% to end at 738.5.
LT was the turnover topper by the traded value and Suzlon was the most traded stock on NSE.
Advance Decline ratio was negative as 308 stcoks gained and 1082 stocks declined today on NSE.
