Punters gambled and get benefited on both sides. Nifty opened positively, made high of 5822.45 in early trades then turned southward upto 5765.05 level in the mid session again madea new high of 5842.60 after noon. It didnn't stop there, again some crazyness were due, it broke yesterday's low and made new low of 5698.2 and ended at 5797.80 with gain of 34.95 points whereas Sensex gained 110.64 points and ended at 19334.76.
Nifty total volatility was of 278 points.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, Bankex gained the most with 2.06% followed by Auto(1.34%) and Metal Index(1.01%). Realty Index again was the top loser with 1.56% fall.
In Nifty50 stocks, Hindalco gained the most with 5.34% and ended at 233.95 but Suzlon was the top loser and ended at 48.30 by falling 2.33%.
The stock of State Bank of India was the turnover topper by its traded value and Unitech was the most traded stock by quantity traded today on NSE.
540 stocks gained today whereas 830 declined on NSE.
HCL Tech made new 52 week high of 592.70 today on NSE.
