Volatile session ended with marginal gains.Market opened flat but turned to negative as Hang Seng dipped.After Europen markets opening, our markets slightly recovered.Nifty ended at 6304.85 with 31.65 points gain and Sensex gained 104.37 points to end at 20956.75.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, FMCG Index gained the most by 2.52% whereas Oil&Gas Index and PSU Index declined by 0.31% and 0.23% respectively.
In Nifty50 stocks, Powergrid gained the most by 4.98% to end up at 103.25. SBI was the top loser by 4.33% fall and ended at 3276.85.
State Bank of India was also the turnover topper stock by traded value and FCS Soft was the most traded stock by traded quantity on NSE today.
Today, 810 stocks gained and 568 stocks declined on NSE.
