Market opened flat and remained volatile between a narrow range. It went in positive territory on the expectation of positive opening in European markets but as it didnt, market come down and ended in negative.Nifty ended at 6275.45 by 26.10 points fall whereas Sensex ended with 68.55 points down at  20863.93.
In BSE Sectoral Indices, Consumer Durable Index gained the most by 4.78% and FMCG Index was the top loser by 0.99%
In Nifty50 stocks, M&M was the top gainer by 3.45% which ended at 808. Ambujacem was the top loser by 2.28% and ended at 160.95.
State Bank of India was the turnover topper by traded value and FCS Soft was the top traded stock today on NSE.
Today, 806 stocks gained and 575 stocks declined on NSE.
