Market opened slightly positive and remained volatile.Nifty touched an intraday high of 5118.65 .Later on made a low of 5068.05 and closed at 5084.95 gaining 4.70 points.Sensex gave volatility of 161 points and closed at 16979.77 with 8.07 points gain.
Top gainer in Nifty50 were Herohonda1874(4.09%) and DLF 316.70(4.04%) while Uniphos164.80(5.64%) and Kotakbank 775.20(3.83%) were leaders in JuniorNifty stocks.
Tatamotors lost 2.28% to close at 794.50.
BSE Realty gained the most by 1.77% among all BSE Sectoral indices.
Overall market breadth was positive as 760 stocks gained and 515 stocks declined today on NSE today.
