As decribed in the previous blog, Nifty faced resistance around 5270 level.Market gave a smart rally in the morning session but some profit booking witnessed in the last session and pulled the Nifty to close at 5233.20 gaining 35.10 points after making the day high of 5260.50.Sensex closed at 17489.57, rose 106.39 points.
Among the BSE Sectoral indices, PSU Index was the highest gainer by 2.11% and Realty was the top loser with 0.77%
Cipla was the top gianer on Nifty50 with 5.10% and it closed at 334 while Unitech was the biggest loser with 2%,closing was 73.50.
Overall market breadth was negative as 714 stocks declined and 560 stocks gained today on NSE.
