Negative global indices made our market to end negative.Nifty ended at 5462.05 with 24.10 points negative and Sensex ended with 64.43 points down at 18223.07.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices,Realty gained the most by 0.46% whereas IT Index lost the most by 1.40%.
Tatamotors was the top gainer in Nifty50 stocks with 4.43% gain to end at 966 and Abb was the top loser with 2.17% and ended at 783.20.
Tatamotors was the top traded stock in the form of Traded Value and Unitech was the top traded stock in the form of Quantity traded on NSE.
Market breadth was negative as 836 stocks declined and 492 stocks gained today on NSE.
