As wrote in the morning, Nifty resisted at 4950 level.The high of Nifty was 4949.15.In the last session, some profit booking seen in the market and drag Nifty to close at 4930, up 100 points.While Sensex closed gaining 327 points.Banknifty supported market by gaining 150 points.It closed at 8618.85.BSE Metal index gained most by almost 4% while Realty gained 2.68%.Bankex was up by nearly 2%.Auto index was up by 1.75%.All BSE Sectoral indices closed in green.
Overall market breadth was positive as 880 stocks gained and 391 stocks declined on NSE.New listed Infinite computers gained nearly 17% and closed at 192.55.JSW Steel was the top gainer with 8.37% while Corporation Bank was the top looser with 1.16%.
