As blogged in the morning, Nifty resisted at 4950 level and traded in line with Asian indices.As HangSeng lost its early gains,our market catched and followed it's thread to slide.Banking started pulling market down.Market closed in negative.Nifty closed at 4824.95(-74.75) and Sensex closed at 16148.55(-207.48) at the time of last trade.Realty was the most loosing sector followed by Banking.BSE Realty index plunged with 2.45% while Bankex was down by 1.99%.On NSE, Dr.Reddy was the major gainer with 3.43%(1162.05) whereas Unitech was the major looser with 4.28%(72.75).Overall market breadth was negative as 384 stocks were gainers and 897 stocks were loosers.
