Market opened negative on the weak Asian cues.Nifty opened at 4840 and showed a low of 4805.55.Europen markets opened on lowerside but didn't slide further, instead recovered.It helped to improve sentiment and our market also recovered.Nifty recovered nearly 72 points and touched 4877 mark.Again in the last half an hour,profit booking pulled Nifty to close at 4844.50,43.25 points down.Sensex closed 143.14 points down at 16184.70. Healthcare stocks zoomed today.
All BSE sectoral indices closed in red, Realty index was the top loser, shedding 3.59%, followed by Metal 2.50% and Consumer Durables by 1.54%.Market breadth was negative to 4:1 ratio.On NSE, 1037 stocks declined while 258 stocks gained today.
Glaxo gained 4.72 % to close at 1655 while India bulls realty declined 6.68% and closed at 154.30.
