Today market opened positive and remained in positive the whole day.The BSE Sensex seem set to record its ninth straight weekly gain boosted by earnings optimism and continued fund inflows, with financials leading the gainers.Both Niffy and the Sensex almost recovered yesterday's losses today.Nifty closed at 5363.30 gaining 58.85 points while Sensex gained 221.02 points and closed at 17935.42.
Both the indices gained weekly by 1.3% .
Today all BSE Sectoral indices closed positive.Bankex and CG Index gained the most by 1.41% followed Auto(1.27%) and Oil&Gas by 1.21%
HDFC was the market mover today.It gained 4.37% to close at 2845 while top loser in Nifty50 was Bharti which closed at 307.55, down by 1.71%
Market breadth was positive to 2:1 as 883 stocks gained and 401 stocks declined today on NSE.
