As published in the morning blog, market made a new 52 week high today as heavyweights shone because US Dollar weakened against Indian Rupee today.US $ touched a year low of 44.63 gainst INR.
Market movers like Reliance Industries,Reliance Infrastructure,Bharti,ICICIBank,Tatasteel gained more than 3% today.Nifty made day high as well as 52 week high of 5377.55 and closed at 5369.75 gaining 79.25 points.Sensex made a new high of 17948.50 and closed at 17933.94 with 241.32 points of gain.
Herohonda gained most in Nifty50 stocks with 5.85% and closed at 2059 where Idea was the top loser with 1.47% and closed 63.65.
Among all the sectoral indices on BSE gained today except IT index.Realty gained most by 2.66% and IT closed in red with 0.02%.
Overall market width was positive to 4.64 : 1 as 1082 stocks gained and 233 stocks declined today on NSE.
