Today market opened flat and was volatile till the closing.At the end the Index see-saw ended at the negative side.Nifty closed at 5341.95 with 19.80 points of loss and Sensex closed at 17864.97 losing 68.17points for the day.Also traders were cautious in the last session as tomorrow's IT giant Infosys results will rule the market.
Among the BSE Sectoral indices, Realty index was the top gainer by 0.73% where as CG Index was the major loser by 1.16%
In Nifty50 stocks, Unitech was the top gainer by 2.90% and closed at 78.10 and Tatamotors was the top loser with 3.56% to close at 780.85
Overall market breadth was equal as 627 stocks gained and 662 stocks declined today on NSE.
