Market was sluggish today for the whole day and ended flat. Nifty ended at 5397.5 with 11 points up and Sensex ended at 18017.25 with 25.52 points up.
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, Capital Goods' index rose the most by 1.30% followed by Consumer durables by 1.21% whereas FMCG was the top loser by 1.01%.

Cipla (1.42%),
Hero Honda Motors (1.34%),
ICICI Bank (1.34%),
Larsen & Toubro (1.31%),
Reliance Industries (0.61%),
Bajaj Auto (0.49%).
The major losers in the Sensex:
Reliance Energy (2.55%),
DLF (1.97%),
ITC (1.66%),
Hindustan Unilever (1.51%),
Tata Consultancy Services (1.47%),
State Bank Of India (1.36%) were .
Sectors in Limelight
The FMCG index was at 3,745.01, down by 39.24 points or by 1.04%. The major losers were I T C (1.66%), Hindustan Unilever (1.51%), United Breweries (1.27%), Godrej Consumer Products (0.26%) and Colgate-Palmolive (India) (0.04%).
The Realty index was at 2,009.21, down by 19.15 points or by 0.94%. The major losers were D B Realty (8.15%), D L F (1.97%), Ackruti City (1.58%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (0.25%) and Anant Raj Industries (0.16%).
The PSU index was at 8,190.85, down by 61.42 points or by 0.74%. The major losers were Balmer Lawrie & Company (1.58%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (1.22%), BEML (0.73%), Andhra Bank (0.51%) and Bank Of Maharashtra (0.18%).
The Capital Goods index was at 12,907.91, up by 101.82 points or by 0.80%. The major gainers were Bharat Electronics (0.83%), Alstom Projects India (0.81%), BGR Energy Systems (0.48%), A B B (0.39%) and Bharat Heavy Electricals (0.07%).
