Market gained today also with the help of Reliance and IT stocks.But Banking stocks were witnessing weakness as RBI Credit Policy will be on tomorrow.
Nifty gained 65.5 points and ended at 5861.05 and Sensex ended at 19497.13 with jump of 150.17 points.
Among BSE sectoral indices, IT index gained the most with 2.54% while Auto index was down with 0.25%.
In Nifty50 stocks IDFC was the top gainer with 4.25% and ended at 199.85 and Tata Motors was the top loser with 2.63% which ended at 1027.5.
Reliance was the turnover topper by valuations and FCS Soft was by traded quantity.
Advance/Decline ratio was negative as 813 stocks declined and 533 stocks gained today on NSE.
