Market opend on the lower side and didnt try to recover as global indices were weak alongwith Europen markets.Nifty closed at 5225.55 down by 52.45 points and Sensex closed at 17388.91 down by 169.80 points.
HangSeng closed at 297.23 points negative while Nikkei closed 132.61 points in positive.
At closing time of Indian markets, European markets were trading as follows,
DAX : -26.39 , CAC : -34.28
Among BSE Sectoral Indices, CD index were the only gainer by 0.73%.The top loser was Metal Index which closed down by 1.74%.
Idea was the top gainer among Nifty50 stocks, it gained 4.50% to close at 63.90 while ABB was the top loser in the same area with 5.35% and closed at 743.00
Advance / Decline ratio was negative as 855 stocks declined and 440 stocks gained today on NSE.
