Strong global cues helped to close our markets higher.Nifty closed at 5352.10 gained,55.25 points and Sensex closed at 17840.98 with 189.25 points of gain.
Among the BSE Sectoral Indices,Teck Index gained the most by 2.45% while FMCG Index was the only loser by 0.72%.
Telecom stocks shone today in the market.Idea gained maximum in Nifty50 stocks with 13.20% and ended at 66.90.Ambuja cement was the top loser in Nifty50 stocks with 1.68% decline and ended at 111.
Market breadth was positive as 783 stocks gained and 529 stocks declined today on NSE.
